AdSense Readiness
A realistic site-structure guide for AdSense applicants, without approval guarantees.
No layout, article count, word count, or traffic promise guarantees AdSense acceptance. The best preparation is a genuinely useful site with clear navigation, original content, trustworthy ownership information, and policy-compliant traffic and ad placement.
Build for readers first
Give the site one clear subject and a coherent set of topic hubs. Each article should solve a real reader problem, include your own explanation or demonstration, and connect to related pages that genuinely help.
Make ownership and navigation clear
Keep About, Contact, author information, editorial standards, privacy information, and advertising disclosures easy to find. Do not invent credentials, reviewers, customer testimonials, traffic figures, or tests.
Make content substantial before applying
There is no reliable article-count or word-count shortcut. Review every page for usefulness, accurate claims, original contribution, working navigation, and a complete page experience. A thin template or copied rewrite is not made valuable by adding more pages.
Keep ads distinct from content
Apply only when the site is ready and follow current AdSense and publisher policies. Do not click your own ads, ask others to click them, buy artificial traffic, or style ads to resemble navigation. Do not place ads on pages created only to show ads.
Complete privacy and consent work
Before adding AdSense, analytics, affiliate links, or a mailing list, update notices to describe the services actually used and implement consent choices where required for your audience and location. This starter policy text requires owner review and localization.
Before applying
Read every public page as a visitor. Check that links work, no placeholders or fabricated claims remain, contact and policy details are accurate, and original content answers useful questions. Confirm traffic is genuine and that pages never ask users to click ads. Apply through Google’s official process; acceptance and timing remain Google’s decision.
